Here are a few things you can implement to make the eating habits a little healthier. And trust me, your kids won’t even notice!
Use these substitutions:
- reduced fat yogurt instead of sour cream
- honey instead of sugar
- olive oil instead of butter
- whole wheat tortillas instead of pizza dough
- freshly squeezed lemon juice + water + honey instead of store bought lemonade
- baked french fries instead of fried french fries (they taste exactly the same)
- baked chicken finders instead of fried chicken fingers (again, kids won’t know the difference)
